At Monday night's meeting of the Stratford Borough Council. Cr. C. .Tackson referred to the fact that old newspapers from the Library were being sold to butchers for the purpo>e of wrapping up meai, and suggested that something should be done to atop such a filthy ■practice. The newspapers were handled by hundreds of people, and collected dirt and. disease, and it was disgusting that they should be used by butchers. On his motion, the Council unanimously decided to burn all old newspapers from the library. Secure the greatest degree or pleasure from motoring by having your ear renovated by C. D.
