INDIAN FRONTIER.
TRIBESMEN STILL RECALCITRANT. By T«lesiaph.—Pres3 Assn—Copyright. London, April 12. Simla advices dated April 8 state that the Derajat column returned to Kanigurara after two days in Mahsud country. At Nazir Kikakhel the Mahsuds who had delivered rifles did not resist the column, but at Aboul, Rehrnankels, assisted by the Shakai Wazira, refused to deliver rifles, The tribesmen occupied a precipitous ridge which the Gurkhas carried against heavy fire. Our casualties were light and the enemy's heavy.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
