i . _ PRISONERS SENTENCED. By Telejrnph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Wellington, April 12. Henry Joseph Lewis, who pleaded guilty to escaping from custody, was sentenced in the Supreme Court, He had many previous convictions, including breaking, entering and theft at Palmerston North and theft at Featherston. He broke out of the Palmerston lock-Up on February 0. He was sentenced to six months' hard labor. James Harold O'Brien, who pleaded guilty to nine charges of stealing passengers' luggage, valued at £l7O Ills, was medically reported to have nothing wrong with his mental condition. He was sentenced to three years' reformative treatment.
