The morning was taken up in allocating dates. CHHISTCHUKCff TRAMWAYS. Christehureh, Last Night. The revenue account of the Tramway Board for the yuav ended March 31st, shows a deficiency uf £12:17, us against a surplus of £2741 for the previous year. The earnings were ,-€205,907, the operating expenses £l-15,11(10, and the standing charges £01,253. The position was regarded as satisfactory, considering the increases in wages and the cost of material, and the trouble incurred. Tiie deficiency is the first since the inception of the' tramways.
