BOWLING.
PAIRS SEMI-FINAL. The semi-final in the Easter pairs tourna-, ment between Woollott and Rolston (New Plymouth) and Hammond and Jury (Fltzroy), which was partly played last week, was concluded on the Fltzroy green yesterday, when Rolston won by the bare margin of a point. Tho game was carried on from the eighth head, when the score was Rolston 2, Jury 9. Rolston gradually pulled up and at the 19th head was 14 to Jury's 13, Jury scored two on tho next head, but Rolston got a similar advantage on the last head, the gacno onding Rolston 16, Jury 15. The ftnal will, be between Rolston and McNeill. THE BANNER PLAY-OFF. The play-off between Fltzroy and West End to find the winner of the Northern Division in the banner competition will be played on tiic New Plymouth green on Thursday afternoon.
