THE PEOPLE'S.' , MAPiY MTT,ES HUNTER IN„ "A BACHELOR'S WIFE." "A Bachelor's Wife," in which the stellar role is charmingly taken by that loveliest of girls, Mary Miles Minter, is a little reminder that, to those who I give much shall be given. This charming picture drew a crowded house to Everybody's on Saturday evening, nnd to enable all patrons to see the picture 'it has been transferred to the People's for to-night. Mary, in the role of Alary O'Rourke, is a warm-hearted little colleen from the 'ould sod', and to secure her cousin's happiness is her one object. The cousin has a recalcitrant husband and Mary sets out. to bring liim back to the fold, and out of her loving service her own love affair grows as a by-product. It is a happy-hearted picture, with a winsome little maid as heroine, sharing honors with a chubby, smiley babv you would like to call your own. To-night will be the only occasion this film can be screened, as the big special, "When a Woman Sins," starts to-morrow. EVERYBODY'S'. ANITA STEWART I\ T "lIV.R KINGDOM OP DREAMS" Marshall Neilan, who produced "Daddy Long-Logs" for Die unalloyed delight of thousands, scored again with a First National film-drama, "Her Kingdom of Dreams," starring adorable Anita Stewart and a talented company of supports. Judith Rutlefge (Anita Stewart), is a dreamer of dreams, and how she comes into her kingdom of i dreams is the main theme of r. delightful and, at times, highly dramatic storv ! She comes to the big city and is literally pitch-forked, into a whirlpool of complications, Her employer has a row with his son, wills her all his wealth, and then on hiis death-bed gets her to marry the son, who is enme.-hed in the snares of an adventuress. Judith and. her husband fall in love with each other, but between the spider woman and lier husband's partner, who is a villain of murky hue and gentlemanly exterior, the pair have frequent misunderstandings which make the onlooker despair of a happy ending. But Cupid will not be denied, and with Anita- playing the role of the wife the drama makes as pretty a story as has been told for quite a long time. The screening nights are to-night and to-morrow. Another episode of "Stingaree" also shows with this programme.
