During the closing debate in the Houh of Representatives on the Peace resohl' tion, Mr. Mason expressed the opinion lliat President Wilson ought to havebwc impeached when he permitted American troops to be gent to Russia,, -Mr. Longworth pointed out that President Wilson's purpose in inventing the League of Nations wa« that he might be(Some President of it himself. President AVilson had bartered away the American people's right! through his own penon&l ambition.
