ATHLETICS.
TUNA SPORTS. The Tuna annual picnic and sports were held on the school grounds on Friday under unfavorable weather conditions. However, there was a good attendance, and the programme was carried out. Kovaleskl 1, A. Skedgowell 2, T. Lobb 3; 11 to 14 : E Lobb 1, V. Wellington 2. Boy and Girl Race.—lt. Kovaleskl and Maggie Wright 1, A. Lobb and L. Kovaleskl 2, V. and 11. Wellington 3. Men's 100 Yards.—Tempero 1, T. Wright 220 Yards.—Tempero 1, Smith 2. Half Mile—Walker 1, Read 2. Young Ladles' Race.—M. Jones 1, E. Wright Men's Kail-drlvlng.—Angus Wright. Ladles' Nail-driving.—Mrs. W. Skedgwell. Greasy l'ig Race for Boys.—A. Lobb 1, A Kovaleikl 2. Hop, Step and Jump.—Cole 1, Nlcol 2. Guessing Competitions.—Dick Alyward won both pig and sheep. A social was held at night. Music was supplied by Mrs. Davis, and the duties of M.C. wero carried out by Mr. E. Jones. Miss Pierce kindly sang during the evening
