EVERYBODY'S. EARLE WILLIAMS IN "THE HORNET'S NEST." j Screening to-night only at Everybody's is a gripping Bine Ribbon special "feature "The Hornet's Nest," with Earle of 'Scarlet Runner" fame, in the leading role. In this picture Enrle Williams is chosen by a girl, a perfect stranger to him, to aid her out of her difficulties. How he is adventurous enough to accept her plan, how he seemingly jumps from the frying pan into the fire, how he discovers himself discredited, how he rises to the occasion and seeks her aid as* his helpmate through life are events that are interestingly set down in this hiffhly dramatic offering. It abounds with hish speed, action and is charged with suspense. "Movie" followers will be delighted wllli this fine picture which is showing to-night only.
THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF VIOLA DANA IN "FALSE EVIDENCE." The wonderful redwoods of California, known to fame all over the world, are one of the unusual features which were seen in "False Evidence," the- attraction at the People's last night. and again to-night. Viola Dana plays the role of Madolon, a wild, passionate girl of the mountains, who upsets the traditions of her race to marry the man she loves. Tt is a story of deep under-current,s and is lightened with much of the brilliant humor for which the Utile Metro star is famous. The story is from the famous novel "Madelon," by Mary K. Wilkins.
COMING TO-MORROW, JOHN BARRYMORE TN "THE TEST OF HONOR." Screening to-morrow only at matinee and night, sessions, the attraction will be a Paramount feature, "The Test of Honor," with John Barrymore in the leading role. AMATEURS AT NEW PLYMOUTHParticulars will be found in our advertising columns of the entertainment to be given on Wednesday and Thursday next week in aid of the proposed hostel for girls in New Plymouth. While their men were away the women did fa more than merely "keep the home fires burning," and it is now "up to" the men to provide for those less fortunate girls who have no home fire to come back to after work. Two delightful little plays will be represented, given by a caste of capable New Plymouth amateurs, and a large audience is anticipated.
