RAILWAY THEFTS.
TWO EMPLOYEES ARRESTED. By Talapraph —Press Association Chrifitchuroh, Last Night. At the Magistrate's Court, Albert William Styles, and Ernest.' Edward Ford, railway employees, pleaded guilty to stealins goods belonging to the New Zealand Railway Department. , .' rl 'o Magistrate said that thefts of this kind were very prevalent, and he was not inclined to deal with the cases summur'ly. The railway employees occupied positions of .trust and it was to the interest of the community that only honest men should be emploved there. After hearing counsel, who gave evidence of the accuseds' excellent characters, the Magistrate said sentence would, be deferred for a week. Bail was allowed."
