JAPANESE IN SIBERIA.

The newspapers condemn the Government's policy in Siberia as an evasion of the public's desire for the withdrawal of the troops. The, papers declare the policy shows the dominance of the militarists in Japan.—Aps.-N.Z. Cable Aasn. • Received April 5, 11.30 p.m. Washington, April 3. An announcement appearing in the Government Gazette at Tokio. on 31st March states that Japan is unable to withdraw her troops from Siberia immediately owing to the political conditions in Manchuria and Korea, and the fact that the life and property of the Japanese in Siberia are menaced. Japan entertains no political ambitions against Russia, and the Japanese troops will be as soon as conditions are remedied, and the Czecho-Slovak troops are also withdrawn.—Aus.-XZ. Cable Asia,
