PERIL TO NORTH SEA TRAWLERS. By Telearaph—Press Assn.—Ccpyrljht. Received April 4, 5.5 p.m. London, April 1. The steamer Sempton landed at Hull the crew of the trawler Ribble, which struck a mine and sank. A German trawler picked up the boat and hospitably treated the fishermen until they were transported to the Sempton.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. REFUGEES FROM RUSSIA. Received April 4, 11.30 p.m.
London, April 3. Two hundred and fifty British refugees from Russia have arrived m Southampton. The majority were destitute, owing to the worthlessness of the Bolshevik notes they carried.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
