EASTER PAIRS. About twenty-four pairs have entered for the Easter tournament, which Is to take placIn New Plymouth on Good Friday and Easter Monday. The draw is to be made tiiia *hkilng. The New Plymouth Club Is sending ssve-al rinks to Hawera to play on Friday. STRATFORD CLUB. EASTER PAIRS TOURNAMENT. The following Is the draw for the Easter pairs. tournament to be held by the Stratford Club: S. Porirtt and V. Hay; A H Hillock and D. Carman; T. A. Nicholson and D. McKeamey; C Martin and A. Woodhead; R. Cottier and W. P. Pratt; 3. S McDonald and G. T, Walters; T. C. Fookes and C. Thompson; G. Smart and R. .1 Patterson; J. s. Lyons and W. Robinson; C. Jackson and J. Butcher; S. Sharp and F. D Gnffaney; W. A. Curteis and E. Carmen; W Harris and C. B. Walsh; H. Saunderson and A J. Davy. The tournament will be played in two sections of three games each day oh Friday and Saturday, and the semi-finals and finals will be played on Easter Monday. The winners and runners-up will come into the semifinals. A progressive tournament will be held on Easter Monday for player 3 not in the finals. The re-drawing of the championship section has been completed as follows: McMillan plays Curteiß; Nicholson plays Hillock; Lyons a bye. The winner of cadi single will play each other, and the winner of those two will play off with Mr. Lyons. The following rinks will represent West End In a banner match against Waitara, at Waitara, to-morrow, leaving Bank of New Zealand corner at 1 p m.:—Lye, Johnson, Sole, Lobb (s); Humphries.
