THE STAR CLUB. A general meeting of the Star football club hiis held lust night. Mr. A. L. Humphries presided. In reply to tlio Rugby Union, It was susxosted that the season should start on Hay (j and 8. It was decided to leave tlio arangements for the Mynott benefit match In the hands of the executive of the R\isby Union. The following medals for the most Improved players In cadi crado were donated aa follows: J. Hoskln - (seniors), G. Bertrand (first juniors, Thursday), W. Crockett (second juniors. Thursday), A. L. Humphries (Saturday juniors). A vote of thanks was passed to these gentlemen for the medals. A vote of sympathy was passed to the mother and widow of the late Mr. L. Clow, an old member of the club. It was decided to hold a practice od Good Friday at in a.m. A good attendance of members I? requested.
