G„ Kcllaway (Deputy Minister of Munitions) speaking at Bedford, stated the total realised by the sale of surplus war stores and stores purchased on trading account was £.130,000,000, of wh'ch £12.1,000,000 represented the sale of wool, hides, etc., bought on trading account, from which the Exchequer benefited only to the extent of the profit made—lmperial Service.
