MAN POUND DROWNED. . By Teieetaph,—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Passengers oil a train going through the Manawatu Gorge this afternoon saw the body of a man floating in the river. The police were advised and recovered the body stranded on a shallow rapid. The body is apparently that of a swagger, about BO years of age, but the features are unrecognisable.
