PURCHASE OF AIRCRAFT.

It is officially stated the purchase price of the entire surplus aeroplanes, etc-, cabled on the 14th inat., was €1,000,000. Mr. Godfrey Isaacs, Mr liandley Page, and Mr. Theodore Page are the directors of the new company which has purchased the Government aeroplanes. —Aus.-NZ, Cable AssnThe previous cable stated:—A large syndicate is purchasing the Government's surplus aircraft and materials, valued at £100,000,000, including 10,000 aeroplanes and 35,000 new aeroplane engines. The syndieate aims at maintaining the. supremacy of British aircraft and personnel.
