NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The committee of the New Plymouth Golf Club has decided to open the links ror »<ay on Saturday. 27th Inst, with a men's bogie handicap. Mixed foursomes will, be played on Saturday, April 10, the first Saturday -after the Easter tournament. ELTHAM CLUB. The annual general meeting c' the Eltlin.ni Golf Club was held on Tuesday, the president Mr. H. D. Forsyth) presiding. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: Patrons, Hon. W. Carncross, Messrs O. Hawken, M.P., C. A. Wilkinson, and G. W. Tayler; president, Mr. H. D. Forsyth; vice-prasidents, Messrs. J. T. Quln, C. .1. Belcher and G. W. Eennett; captain, Mr. A. A. Stewart: vice-captain, Mr. W. D. Ross; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Ross; general committee, Messre. J. L. Campbell, Frank Quln, and Grim.itone; green committee, Messrs. Ross, .1. Quln, and L. Quln; match and handicaps committee, Messrs. Stewart, Grlmstone, and F. Quln; ladles' committee. Mesdiuues Bennett and Weir, and Miss H. Wilson. The president, captain, and secretary were appointed a committee to deal with the question of tlte necessary alterations and additions to the golf house. The filing of the opening day was left to Hip ci'iieral committee.—Argus.
