By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. It i 3 announced that the New South Wales Government ia introducing flurffig the present session air control legislation. The Roman Catholics of Melbourne decided to present Archbishop Mannix with a cheque for £50,000 on the eve of his departure to Rome. Archbishop Mannix declined, stating that he hoped to die without a penny. A conference of representatives of the dallying industry in all the States passed a. resolution in favor of the Government scheme of organisation of the industry of the Commonwealth. The scheme provides for the appointment or a Council of Control, consisting of representatives of the industry, to whom the Government will surrender the powers now held.
