CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH GIG. By "MoßraiJli.—Press Association. Palmerston N„ March IS. A serious collision occurred u:i i.ie Foxtou line at Tiakitnhuna last night. A motor cyclist endeavoring; to pass between a motor cyclist towing another cyclist, and a gig, collided with thn latter. The gig was overturned and the occupants, Mr. Dunn, a fanner of Rangititane, and Mrs- Henderson and her baby wore thrown out. Dmm sustained a broken collar-bone, and the others a severe shaking. The horse freed itself from its harness end bolted over a mile colliding with a taxi and was killed instantly. A little girl in the car was cut about the face, necessitating stitches being inserted.

A CYCLIST KILLED. Auckland, Last Night. A fatal accident occurred to-night, when a 'yclist collided with a horse and curt. The horse got its legs tangled in the bicycle, and fell on the cyclist, who sustained a fractured skull and other injuries. He died in the hospital. The deceased has not been identified.
