ANOTHER ATTACK ON POLICEMEN. Si Teleeraph.—Press Assn.—CopyrlsM» Received March 14, 5.5 p.m, London, March 13. There are disquieting developments at Cork in consequence of frequent shoot ings.

Armed men waylaid three constables returning to suburban barracks late in tlie evening during a storm. Several shots were fired and Constable Scully was killed.

At a meeting of the Cork Corporation the Lord Mayor and others expressed disapproval of the police entering cluba and houses and firing rifles in the streets. They declared citizens were compelled to take steps for self preser-vation.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Awn.
