KING COUNTRY SHOW.
RECORD ENTRIES. Te Kuiti, March fi. The King Country Central eighth annual A. and P. Show was held yesterday in beautiful weather. There were record entries and attendance. The cattle classes, especially in Herefords, would be hard to beat in Australasia. The sheep also were of excellent quality and the horses good. The jumping competition created great interest. The principal awards were;— Champion of champions—W. 6. Park's Nora Sheppard. Shorthorn. —Champion of King Country ; J. E- Trust's Peter. i Champion draught mare— G. Park. Champion gelding—Petch Bros. Champion hack—E. Windsor's Digger. Champion Shorthorn heifer—Andrew Kay's Lady Medallist. Champion bull—Petch Bros.' Limestone Ronald the 22ndI Champion cow—J. Tapp's Ayrshire.
