EXPEDITIONARY FORCE ENDS.
.PROVISION FOR HOSPITAL CASES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, March C. It is announced that the New Zealand Expeditionary Force shall cease to exist from April 28, when there will be practically no one remaining on the strengtn. The principle underlying the decision fs to wrest all the remaining members back to civilian life as soon as possible, thereby enabling them to draw their gratuity and participate in repatriation benefits. All patients in military hospitals who are still members of the N.Z.10.F will be affected by the decision and they will be automatically placed under the control of the War Pensions • Board. It is considered the decision will give, general satisfaction to patients, as it will remove the difficulties In regard to the payment of gratuities and obtaining loans from the Repatriation Board. Officers and men remaining in hospital, or being admitted subsequently, will bo paid the maximum pension for disablement according to rank. They will be quartered free and will enjoy repatriation privileges
