EVERYBODY'S. MADGE KENNEDY IN "A PERFECT LADY." To-night at Everybody's Madge Kennedy stars in a new "Goldwyn" special feature, "A Perfect Lady." It depicts the story of a girl of the stage, Lucille Le Jambon (Madge Kennedy) who is traced to fight an entire town to prove that, despite her calling, she is as good, if not better, than those who have joined to persecute her. In her fight against tremendous odds, Lucille wins the friendship of the Rev. David Grayling, who had helped to stop the performance of the troupe with which Lucillo had arrived in town. Urged by the parson she quits the troupe and opens a dancing school. Once more she is attacked by ft sanctimonious church committee, led by John Griswold, the deacon. Threatened with banishment from the town, Lucille arranges a shocking surprise for the deacon. With him present she shows ft motion picture revealing Griswold in orgies with chorus girls in Chicago. This surprise is followed by another when the parson announces his coming lnarliage to Lucille. This fine feature and supporting programme shows for tonight onlyTHE PEOPLE'S. IRVING CUMMINGS. Popular Irving Cunimings and Maud Fealy are the featured artistes on tonight's bill at the People's,'headed by "P'amelia's Past." A fine Billy West comedy and latest gazette showing the entry of the British army into Germany. ELSIE FERGUSON TO-MORROW. To-morrow's new hill presents charming Elsie Ferguson in the latest Paramount feature, "The Marriage Price." The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m.
