JERSEYS. In the class for Jeraey cows calved since fuly, 1916, with semi-official records, G. H Bell (Oakura.) secured sgtidnd place wiUi Merrlvonla'a Violet. GBEEN FEED COMPETITION. Lucerne: W. A. Graham (Spotswood) 1, S. Waller (Spotswood) 2. Millet: A. E. Washer (Avenue Road) 1. COW JUDGING FOB AMATEURS. This was a new competition and it produced three entries. Tho conditions were that competitors, who must be under 25 years of age, should Judge three unplaced animals on type, placing them in order of merit, stating on the card his reason for doing so. The Judges were: Messrs J. Massey (Mangorel). W. Remnant (Whakaronga), and B. D. McLennan (Papakura). The awards were: E. Ballantyne, N.P.H.S., 1; S. Wood, N.P.H.S., 2; W. J. Slack, Taikorea, 3. " BOYS' COW JUDGING. In the boys' cow judging there .were 88 competitors, who showed intelligent interest In tiieir work. The result will not be available for a day or two as the judge (Mr. Banford, of Stratford) has rather a foiunldable task In front of him. SnEEP. Pet lambs: Eileen Norrls (Egmont Village) 1.
