Tho conditions were that competitors, who must be under 25 years of age, should Judge three unplaced animals on type, placing them in order of merit, stating on the card his reason for doing so. The Judges were: Messrs J. Massey (Mangorel). W. Remnant (Whakaronga), and B. D. McLennan (Papakura). The awards were: E. Ballantyne, N.P.H.S., 1; S. Wood, N.P.H.S., 2; W. J. Slack, Taikorea, 3. " BOYS' COW JUDGING. In the boys' cow judging there .were 88 competitors, who showed intelligent interest In tiieir work.
