South Tarahaki was largely represented, and it is safe to say that those who visited the show for the first time were impressed with the excellence of the exhibits, the splendid appointments, and the completeness of the arrangements. On all sides one heard expressions of pleasure from visitors and exhibitors alike at the. excellent arrangements and the treatment received at the hands of the officials. This year's show will considerably enhance the reputation of the Society, which has been gaining in popularity during the past few years. The officials were at work early in the day, and, judging was soon in full swing.
