RECORD CARGO SHIPPED.
CONSIGNMENTS BY KAIKOURA. The largest and most valuable cargo ever loaded at Auckland is carried by the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Kaikourn, which left for London on Sunday morning. The Kaihours, was in port a -month, and the amount of cargo handled during that time costituted a record for the port. She discharged 7400 tons of coal from Port Kembla. and then loaded a full cargo of produce. The produce included the following items:—Four thousand six hundred and fifty-two .boxes of butter, 12.9W crates of cheese, 5718 quarters of beef, 40,754 carcases of mutton, 10,135 carcases of lamb. 2700 packages of frozen sundries, 058,1 hates of wool, 10S1 bales of leather, 332 cask's of tallow and pelts, 3274 sacks of copra. 200 casks of hides, 3452 ingots of spelter, 1000 eases of preserved milk, 48S1 tins of giaxo, 207 sacks of cocoa beans, 30 eases of vanilla beans, 20 cases of rubber, 45 sacks of peas, 200 cases of dripping, and 2(1 eases cf nutidfifli
