It is ascertained that wholesale prices have increased over those ruling before the war as follows: France 300 per cent. Italy fIOO per cent. Britain ~.. 170 per cent. Japan 100 per cent. America 120 per cent. It transpired that the Germans are receiving less than half the nominal food supplies estimated as necessary per individual.—Reuter Service.
