M.P.'s AT THE ISLANDS.
A VISIT TO NIUE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, March 4. A wireless 'message received at 12 30 says that the majority of the Parliamentary party landed at Niue in the ship's boats, It was a precarious passage through the narrow breach in the dangerous reef, the waves were breaking heavily, and all were relieved when the passage was safely accomplished. Mr- Morris Government Agent, and Dr. Ellison' doctor, boarded the Mokoia on lier arrival, which was a welcome surprise. The last vessel touched at the island in November and resident? were unaware of the results of the New Zealand elections. Stores were low of all foodstuffs.
A motor car and German pun were landed and some cargo discharged. Sir James Allen announced that a tender had been accepted for an Auckland-Niue schooner service and that the New Zealand Red Cross'had given £ 1000 for a hospital. Thtf; school was inspected. Members regard <'education as the hope of the future for the native people The Eurdjoenms were entertained on board. Fortunately Nine is our last bad landing. The weather i 3 hotter, but all are well.
