THE DECISIONS OP CABINFT, FLOUR £l6 20s A TON. FOUR POUND LOAF Id MORE. By Telegraph.—Press Awoelgtioß, Wellington, Last Night. The decision of the Government with regard to the increases to be made In the prices of oread and flour, in consequence of the increase.in tie price of wheat, was made known by the' Prime Mintater. The increase of one penny per 21b loaf recently announced is not sanctioned, nor will be the price of/flour be allowed, to rise by £3 per ton. The increases are to be exactly half these amounts. Cabinet has .sanctioned the following prices for the year ending Febrnarr 28th, 1921:- ». wnuuy Flour £l6 10s per ton, f.o.b. Lyttel< ton, Timaru and Oamaru; other places J)lus transportation charges. The price, of .flour up till now has been I£lS per ton. . and pollard £9, fab, jt ther,saine ports. • Aniinerease in, bread prices of id pet 21b loaf and Id per 41b l<Jaf over the prices fixed last year by the Board of Trade. These prices will operate forthwith. The subsidy to millera has been taed, fthd arrangements have been made to etwire that the public will receive the benefit so far as the carry over from last jMfa supply is concerned.
