CHRISTCH'DRCH MEN'S .DEMANDS. 4s A DAY INCREASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Chrifitchurch, Last Night. All ranks of the Christchurch police force -were represented at a meeting, when a very strong demand was put forward for an increase in pay. A motion was carried asking that an all round increase of 4s a day should lie granted to bring the lowest paid men up to the pre-war standard of value. A copy of the resolution has been sent to the Commissioner of Police, and tho Minister of Justice may also bo approached.
