ODDFELLOWSHIP.

The officers of the New Plymouth district M U.1.0.0.P. paid a visit to the Loyal Egmont and Loyal Excelsior Lodges on Monday night. The visitors were welcomed by the presiding officer, Hro. Y\Clow, N.G., and responses were given by the district G.N, Bro. W A. Spragg; deputy G.N., Bro. H. Hii'l; I.P.P.GN., Bro. A. Roberts, and the district secretary, Bro. G. S. Papps. Tup balance sheet of the loyal Egmont Lodge was presented and disclosed a satisfactory state of affairs, the sick and funeral fund showing an increase of .£l4O, and the total worth being £V9OG The management fund credit balance was fiet down at £73. During the year £290 was disbursed in sick benefits, £OO in funeral allowances, and £IBS for medical attendance. The district book examiner's report was satisfactory, with the exception of the portion dealing with the manner ■n which the interest of the Loyal Egmont Lodge was collected Regret was also expressed that 90 members of the same lodge were in arrears with the special levy in connection with the Hospital Association. Bros. McGahcv P.P.G.N.. w. Clow, N.G. IT. A. Hooker,' r.fi., and A Honker, secretary, Avore elected deputies to the district conference at Stratford. At the close of the lodge business the visitors were entertained to supper.
