THE TAINUI DISASTER.
EVIDENCE CONCLUDED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Clvristchurch, Feb. 28. In the Tainui ease the evidence brought by the Marine Department has concluded. Mr. Myers, who is appearing for Partridge, the Christehurch manager of the Vacuum Oil Company, said he intended to apply on Monday for dismissal against his client on the ground that there was not a word of evidence against him. The Magistrate said there did not Beem to be any evidence against Partridge. The heaving was adjourned to Monday.
