A SECONDHAND DEALER.
DECISION ON A LEGAL POINT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. Mr. 6.-. CrttiekabMtk, 5.i.1,, gave his reserved decision to-day in the case in which a cycle agent was charged with carrying on business as a second-hand dmler without being licensed to do so. His Worship held that transactions in second-hand machines were of common occurrence in the cycle trade and brought a dealer within the Statute. It made- no difference that dealing in second-hand machines was only occasional and incidental of defendants real business. A conviction was entered without a penalty.
