PRICE OF BREAD.
COST UNDER CONSIDERATION. NO PROFITEERING INSTANCES. Christchuroh, Feb. 21. This morning representatives of the Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin master bakers waited upon the Board of Trade to discuss the price of bread. Statements of their costings ivere submitted by the bakers, and lliese are now under consideration by the Board. The conference is being resumed cm .Monday, when il:p Roard hopes to finish it's Christclutreh business. The appeal of the Board of Trade for specific instances of profiteering to bo brought under its notice has met with a very poor response in Christohnrch.
