A LINESMAN ELECTROCUTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Albert Olsen, employed by the Post and Telegraph Department, was electrocuted this morning while working on a high-power wire running to the wireless station on the Tinakori Range. Deceased was a returned soldier and unmarried. KILLED ON RAILWAY LINE. Tailmpe, Feb- 23. On Saturday afternoon Patrick Leahy, S. retired pioneer citizen of Taihape, was killed on the railway. He missed the train at Mataroa and decided to walk along the railway line. He was over-, taken by a special goods train when* nearly through the tunnel. He was 65 years of age and leaves a wife, eight sons and three daughters. FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT. Wellington, Pel. 23. Edward McLeod, a wharf laborer whose skull was fractured by the overturning of a motor-car in which he was being driven into town from Lyall Bay •on Friday night, died in hospital this morning. He was a single man aged 23. Two other passengers were also injured. Mrs. Maud Taylor is in hospital suffering from shock and injuries to her head, and Mrs. Edge sustained injury to her arm. The driver escaped with a few bruises. MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED. Chratchureh, Feb. 23. 'A' young man, named Nelson Dalzell, was killed in a motor accident between Hawarden and Waikari on Saturday night. Deceased and a companion were riding home from the city on a motorcycle when they were overtaken by a motor-car. A collision occurred, and the motor-cyclists were thrown heavily, Dalzell being killed almost instantaneously.
