LNGLEWOOD SUCCESSES (From a Correspondent.) Amongst the prize-winners at the Hawera Show last week, only two nettiers of the Inglewood district upheld the honor of the district, viz., Messrs. E. ,o'Sullivan and Sons, of Tariki, first prize in the butter-fat competition, their famous Jersey cow "Sultan's Daisy" outdistancing her rivals by 251bs. with a return of 2.841bs butter-fat for the one day test; and Mr. A. A. Ward, of Rugby Road, who, with representatives of his well-known "Miro Meadows" herd of Jerseys, secured two first prizes, four seconds, and one third, as well as one v.h.c. and one li.c. Amongst these was the ten-guinea challenge cup, 'presented to the Association by Mr. J. Nicholson three years ago, and won by Mr. Ward at each annual siiow since, and whioh now, by the conditions of the competition, becomes his own. The challenge was for the best three purebred Jerseys in milk, with purebred bull of two years or over.
