ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
COLLISION WITH A TRAIN; By Telegraph.—Press Association. . Nelson, Last Night. A train from Glenhope to-day collided with a hawker's caravan on a combined railway hridge over the Motueka river at Tapawera. The driver of the caravan, named Walerhousc, a returned soldier, jumped off and saved himself by clinging to the side of the bridge. One horse was killed and the other injured, while the caravan was wrecked and was carried a considerable distance by the locomotive.
