BANK ROBBERS OUTWITTED. By Telegraph.—Presr Assn.—Copyright. Capetown, Feb. 30. Robbers, attempted to hold up the Doornfontein branch of the National Bank at lunch-time. The police were forewarned, established themselves in the premises, and fired at the robbers, who were seriously wounded. A police sergeant was slightly wounded. EGYPTIAN MINISTER. _ * Cairo, Feb. IS, Sir Ismail Sarri Pasha, Minister of Public Works, who recently resigned owing to the non-inclusion of an Egyptian on the Nile Irrigation Projects Commission, has informed Renter's agent that the Government has accepted his conditions and he has therefore withdrawn his resignation.
