TWELVE TRUCKS DERAILED MANY SHEEP KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. A goods train from Waipukurau to Napier came to grief on the Opapa grade at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning Six waggons, containing 'sheep,, be.' came derailed and piled up the balano* of the train, rushing on and over them. In all. seven sheep waggons and five containing cha'ff. timber and coal, etc., left the permanent way. Many sheep wore killed and maimed! hut no railwaymen were injured. A breakdown train was despatched from Napier, and the line cleared by midnight on Saturday. The passenger* had been transferred past the obstruction and, in consequence, trains were considerably delayed.. The cause of thd accident is problematical..
