ASSISTANCE FOR PRODUCERS. ■ CLEARING THE STORES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The conference called by the Board of Agriculture to consider the, shipping prospects and arrangements for marketing New Zealand produce after the ending of the Imperial contracts sat again to-rldy, and subsequently interviewed the Prima Minister. Mr. Masscy had intended to attend the conference, hut had been detained at the Co*il Conference. The interview was private. The Prime Minister informed a reporter later that the deputation had handed him the resolutions adopted by the conference and had made some requests 1 which he regarded as reasonable. These requests involved assistance for producers in meeting difficulties arising from the ending of the commandeer and the congested state of the cold stores. The deputation wanted the stores cleared in timo for the reception of next season's produce and it suggested certain other measures that might be necessary or desira'ble. He had been able to give< the delegates some information that would be useful to them.
