In connection with the Mahsud campaign, an accident occurred on the 13th, when a tower in Ivotkai collapsed, killing fourteen Indian soldiers and injuring seven. The Mahsuds held a jirgah at ICarnigram on tl.e 14th. All sections reported in favor of peace, and a letter was sent asking for the suspension of bombing and stating that rifles and tribal security for the maintenance of peace would be brought into the lines within a few days and the captured rifles be surrendered within three months.
