The weather looked so little like clearing at the usual time for commencing work that the men took It for granted there would be no chance of working, and shipping was idle the whole day. THE BADEN POWELL, The Baden Powell, from Wellington, arrived shortly after noon yesterday .but did not commence discharging cargo. THE BARAWA. The Raram Is due on her usual trip this rooming and will leave for the north again to-night. THE NGATORO. The departure of the Ngatoro from Wellington for Wanganul, New Plymouth and Greymouth, was postponed till yesterday. THE HUIA. Tho Huia's departure from Wellington for Wanganul was postponed till yesterday. The vessel Is expected back at Wellington tomorrow morning, and an endeavor will be made to dispatch her to-morrow evening for New Plymouth with a full load of case oil. THE WAIMEA. The Waimea left Greyunouth at seren o'clock last night with 372 tons of unscreened coal for New Plymouth. Sho is expected to arrlvo In time to commence discharging to-morrow morning.
