Batchelor (Canterbury) in the 220 yds intermediate championship; Paterson (Wellington) in the 100 yds championship; and Miss V. Waldrond in the lUOyds intermediate girls' championship, all established New Zealand records. Results:—
220 yds New Zealand Championship.— I:. Kronfcld (Auckland) 1, E. G. L. 'Paterson (Wellington) 2, C. Atkinson (Canterbury) ;i. Won by half a length. Time, 2min. 37 4-fisees.
220 yds Boys' Intermediate N.Z. Championship— N. Batchelor (Canterbury) J, E. V. Civnr.old (Auckland) 2, C.'Low Canterbury) li. Won by four lengths. Time, 2min 41 3-ssoc3.—'a Now Zealand record.
100 yds N.Z. Intermediate Girls' Championship.—Miss V. Waldrond (Auckland) 1, Miss G. Slmnd (Canterbury) 2, Miss P. Hoeft (Auckland) 3. Won by threequarters of n. length. Time, 71 2-osecs-—a New Zealand record.

Ladies' Neat Headers.—Miss E. Tilsley (Auckland) won both even+s. Men's Neat Headers.—Boulton (Wauganui) and Wright (Auckland) each won one event.
100 yds. Breast Stroke Handicap.— Deck (Auckland) 4sec. 1, A. Clarke (Auckland) 7see. 2, J. H. Meek (Canterbury) Usee. 3. Deck won by two feet from .Terrom (Auckland), but the latter was disqualified for not touching properl}'. Time, lmin, 2-1 4-ssecs. Water Polo Championship.—Second Hound: Canterbury A defeated Auckland A by four goals to 2. Auckland and Canterbury have 30 points each for the Shield.
