SNOW IN NEW YORK.
FOOD SUPPLIES DELAYED. By Telegraph.—Press Atsn.—Copyright, Received Feb. 15, 5.5 p.m. New York, Feb. 14. The city authorities have appropriated 7,290,009 dollars in order to clear the city streets of the heaviest snow fall since 1887. Traffic is so badly blocked that the city is beginning to suffer from the lack of fresh foods. The Merchants' Association estimates that business people are losing Ave million dollars daily owing to the enow.—Aus.-X.Z. Cable Assn.
