NEW PROBLEMS.

PEACE TREATY NEEDS REVISION. THE OUTLOOK IN THE EAST. By Telegraph,—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 13, 1.45 p.m. London, Feb. 10. In the House of Lords Viscount CurEon said that he believed a good deal of the Peace Treaty would have to be rewritten and revised in the course of time. None of its authors claimed to be sacrosanct. Germany's failure in her fulfilment of Treaty obligations would enable the Allies to aid her in resuming her place among the civilised communities of the world. He expressed anxiety in regard to the outlook in the Near East and the Middle East, and emphasised the necessity for taking a broad-minded view in the settlement of the difficult problems not yet Jecided by the Peace Conference. —Reuter Service.
