CONVENT QUEEN CARNIVAL.
VOTING UP TO LAST NIGHT. The third day's results of the Queen Carnival contest, held in connection with the Catholic Bazaar, were announced at 0 o'clock lost evening. The state o£ the voting was as follows: Farmers (Miss Eileen Cudby) .. 9480 Convent (Miss Fleming) 8994 Sports (Miss Tui Scully) 7910 Hibernian (Miss E. Whittle) .. 6665 Maori (Miss Ivy Skipper) 3433 Labor (Miss M. Touhy) 1618 The position will be announced again at nine o'clock to-night, and the final result to-morrow night. Raffles are already concluded, and the, winners are:—Painted cushion, Mrs. Murray (Stratford); table centre, Mrs. H. McEwen; cushion, J, Dawson; doll's tea set; Miss Zeta Bennett; doll's furniture set, Miss Molly Potter.
