TO CHECK PROFITEERING.
ACTION BY BOARD OF TRADE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Board of Trade will sit in all centres, beginning in Christchurch, on February 18th, hearing charges of profiteering. Pending the appointment of its own district officers, the Board lias made arrangements with Labor Department inspectors and representatives to receive complaints of profiteering, and forward same to the Board, which will use discretion as to forwarding the cases to the Crown Solicitor for prosecution.
