FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA.
TWO DETERMINED BRITISHERS.

Captain Wilkins and Lieut. Rendle, the airmen who set out tc fly to Australia, have returned to London from Suda Bay to arrange for a new port engine for the "Kangaroo" machine. It is understood the Air Ministry has several suitable engines at Cairo, but it is uncertain whether the engine will be sent from England or Egypt. The airmen hope to return to Suda Bay in a week to resume the journey as soon as possible. They travelled to England via Corfu in order to investigate Captain Howell's fate. It is understood there will be no further official investigation into that accident. The authorities favor the theory that Captain Howell met with a storm while returning to Taranto and exhausted his The theory accords with the British naval reports.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
