ACTION OF SOLDIERS IN HOSPITAL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Concerning tlie trouble at the Cashmere military sanatorium, at a conference held to-day between the officers and the men the authorities decided to instruct the orderlies to do all the work to which the men objected, except the washing of dishes. The men held a meeting later, and after being addressed by the president and the secretary of the Christchurch Returned Soldiers' Association, they aecided to return to the sanatorium for a 'period of seven days to allow the Returned Soldiers' Association to negotiate with tlie authorities. The men state that if the authorities do not meet tliem on the dish washing question by then they will go "on strike" again.
